Nintendo Switch Online gives subscribers the ability to play NES and SNES games on their console. With Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription update coming on October 25, 2021, the subscription will also add a selection of N64 and SEGA Genesis games. Just like the NES and SNES classics on Switch Online, the N64 and Genesis titles come with additional modern improvements such as higher resolution visuals, online play for up to four players, suspend points (quicksave), and rewinding gameplay.

Nintendo has promised to add more classic N64 and SEGA Genesis games to the Switch Online Expansion line-up in the future. Nintendo Switch Online subscription is now available on Nintendo.com, Expansion Pack update will launch on October 25, 2021.
